One look at this photo and you would assume that you are in an optical shop, right? Not so! This is taken in a general type store . . . lots of little things for sale.
It's the latest fashion craze. These are NOT reading glasses and these are NOT eyeglass frames for prescription glasses. They are simply frames. No lenses.
And people are wearing them. Just for fun. One woman wears them in addition to her contact lenses!
My lesson this week is on "fashion" so I've been asking my students as to why people are wearing these "glassless glasses." Everyone is in agreement that they are "cool."
Go figure! I guess that's one way to avoid glare in photos!
